If you know me well, you know that I talk about my bucks quite a bit and I'm picky about who comes in as a buck. Jennifer Davis's herd is easily one of my top favorites and I absolutely love to see her does age beautifully, continuing to appraise well into their "golden years." I have an udder buck (thank you Winning Streak) but I needed a guy who would improve front ends as well overall general appearance & width while maintaining every other positive attribute I see in our young herd. I know what Leo's half brother did for front ends in my herd (see further back for full body shots of these animals) and I was SO ridiculously excited when I saw this yearling buck come up for sale after Drakkar tragically passed in a freak accident this spring.
While we could not get an official score on Leo at LA due to a tattoo issue (will be submitting for a chip as well, always chip your goats!), there is a lot to love about this guy. He has a gorgeous head, beautiful shoulders, amazing rear leg angulation and back structure with moderate extension of brisket and legs placed directly under his withers. He was complimented on his masculine face & muzzle as well.
Leo's first daughter to hit the show ring took home a Grand Champion over 60 other juniors at the Maryland Dairy Goat Association's Spring into Summer show at just 4 months old!
Leo's dam, Hidden Hills Sugar Magnolia 8*M VEEE91 excels in general appearance, strong feet and legs, a beautiful, well attached mammary that has a productive foreudder, excellent teat placement all held with a strong medial suspensory ligament.
Leo's sire's dam is SGCH Hidden Hills Natural Mystic EEEE92. She was the 2023 total performer and captures everything a dairy goat should be- gorgeous body & mammary as well as productive in the milk pail.
Leo's sire's full littermate sister is GCH Wolfivan One Love VEEE91. She needs no introduction, but One Love is a gorgeous doe who excels in general appearance, and once again maintains that front end, levelness on the move and fantastic mammary I'd like to maintain here.

A note about Walks Like Rain (Drakkar's dam) & Sire Remington, from Jennifer at Hidden Hills
Rain is a combination of the best of our best! She is the daughter of SGCH Bellafire BP Country Melody. Melody earned her second EEEE91 during LA's this season as a nine-year-old doe; her first was at three years old!
Rains Sire is the full littermate brother to GCH Hidden Hills Natural Mystic EEEE92. Mystic was a 2023 Total Performer at ADGA National, 2nd Place 4-year-old in 2023, and 7th place 3-year-old in 2022. Mystic milk has an astounding 1489 pounds, 119 butterfat, and 58 protein during her 2022 lactation!
In Rain's first three generations, 12/13 does carry 90+ LA scores! The consistency here is amazing!
Rain also has one Best in Show placement under her belt as a dry yearling
